Dr. Hauschka

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us

I was at the co-op last night browsing the beauty aisle, as usual, when the clerk offered some Dr. Hauschka samples to try.

Yummy!

I have Clarifying Toner, Rose Day Cream, Quince Day Cream and some Cleansing Milk to try. This morning I used the Clarifying Toner and some Rose Day Cream.

The toner would work much better if it were sprayed (as the full sized bottles are sold) as opposed to soaking a cotton ball. Still, it had a nice feel to it. Not drying of overly fragrant.

The Rose Day Cream is very thick, almost sticky. I put a dollop in my palm, pressed my palms together and then pressed my hands onto my cheeks, face and neck. I found this method to be most effective with rich moisturizers that don't spread too easily.

I have been a fan of the Dr. Hauschka line for many years and absolutely LOVE the Spruce Bath. It has very woodsy, earthy aroma that is reminiscent of hiking in the deep woods. My co-op stopped carrying the full bottles, but I have one on special order that should be here fairly soon. Winter is such a divine time to indulge in fancy bath oils and bubble baths.
